Opening: Dench in Dream, Dunsinane, Measure

Amongst the major London openings - in the West End and further afield - this week are:

OPENING MONDAY, 15 February 2010 (previews from 9 February), Judi Dench plays Titania in Peter Hall's new production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Rose Theatre, Kingston, nearly 50 years after she first played the role in Hall's 1962 RSC production. Until 20 March 2010.

OPENING TUESDAY, 16 February 2010, Megan Mullally, best known for playing Karen in American sitcom Will & Grace, performs with her band Supreme Music Program at the Vaudeville Theatre for eight performances only.

ALSO ON TUESDAY (previews from 11 February), Irishman Jason O'Mara returns to the London stage to star in Simon Curtis' revival of Lanford Wilson’s 1970 play Serenading Louie at the Donmar Warehouse, where it continues to 27 March.

ALSO ON TUESDAY, Carl Heap directs his version of Twelfth Night for young people at the National’s Cottesloe Theatre.

OPENING WEDNESDAY, 17 February 2010 (previews from 10 February), Roxana Silbert directs the premiere of David Grieg's Macbeth-inspired Dunsinane at Hampstead Theatre, kicking off the RSC's two-play residency at the venue. Until 6 March.

ALSO ON WEDNESDAY, Love&Madness presents the devised piece Demi Monde, the third production in its Desire & Destruction season at Riverside Studios.

OPENING THURSDAY, 18 February 2010 (previews from 11 February), Rory Kinnear, Anna Maxwell Martin and Ben Miles lead the cast in Michael Attenborough's production of the bard's dark comedy Measure for Measure at the Almeida Theatre, continuing until 3 April.

OPENING FRIDAY, 19 February 2010 (previews from 11 February), Bola Agbaje's Off the Endz premieres at the Royal Court Downstairs, directed by Jeremy Herrin. Utnil 13 March.
