Rehearsal 'not part of' at TaurusDate: 2 July 2009 Following on from the success of M, currently playing at Taurus in Manchester at the not part of festival, comes another new production, Rehearsal.
The production is part of a new arts project, Visceral Arts which is dedicated to the creation and presentation of new art. Rehearsal, their first project is written by Alan Keogh and performed Clive Bonelle and Keogh himself. The play explores the relationship between two actors currently touring a show who are finding their working relationship a little strained. The question is, can they overcome their personal differences and actually get any work done?
The play uses pathos and humour to explore the characters and their working process and takes the audience into the world of the rehearsal room. Visceral arts will make its debut as part of the 'not part of' (www.notpartof.org) festival on the following dates:
Taurus bar Canal St. Mcr - 9 July The Ape And Apple John Dalton St. Mcr - 16 July The Lass O'Gowrie Charles St. Mcr - 17 July
All shows start at 7.30, tickets are available from Quay tickets - more information including blog, photos and music is available at www.myspace.com/visceralarts - by Glenn Meads Related Content
