  • First Night Report - No Man's Land - Whatsonstage.com was on hand at last week’s opening night of Pinter’s No Man's Land at the Duke of York’s theatre, starring Michael Gambon, David Bradley, Nick Dunning and David Walliams, and directed by Rupert Goold. We caught up with members of the creative team and celebrity guests including Eddie Izzard and David Baddiel to get their thoughts on the show.

  • Show Trailer - Piaf - The Donmar Warehouse production of Pam Gems’ Piaf, about the life of the legendary Parisian songbird, opens in the West End next week (21 October 2008, previews from 16 October). This trailer features clips from the show, as well as an interview with its star, Elena Roger.

  • Simon McBurney on A Disappearing Number - Complicite’s Simon McBurney and composer Nitin Sawhney discuss their production of A Disappearing Number, about the relationship between impoverished Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and Cambridge professor G H Hardy. It enjoyed an award-winning run at the Barbican last year, and returns to the same venue this month (See News, 1 Apr 2008).

  • Bill Bailey – Olde Pub Joke - Much-loved comedian Bill Bailey is bringing his latest stand-up show Tinselworm to the West End next month (See News, 6 Oct 2008). To mark the occasion, here’s a quick clip of Bailey at his best – telling a pub joke in the style of Chaucer.

  • Show Trailer - Oedipus - The National Theatre’s production of Oedipus, starring Ralph Fiennes in a new adaptation by Frank McGuinness, opens tonight at the NT Olivier (15 October 2008, previews from 8 October 2008).
