Dee, Rowe & Langford Mark Musical Stages Tenth

Date: 8 March 2005

Musical Stages (pictured), Britain’s only glossy magazine specifically dedicated to international musical theatre, celebrates its tenth birthday next month with a star-studded cabaret and party. Hosted by Fred Astaire’s daughter, Ava Astaire McKenzie, the event takes place at London’s Arts Educational School on Sunday 3 April 2005.

Amongst the musical theatre stars who are due to take part in the cabaret, all of whom have featured in the magazine over the past decade, are: Janie Dee, Bonnie Langford, Clive Carter, Clive Rowe, Nicola Hughes, Rosemary Ashe, David Bedella, Tim Flavin, Simon Green, Stephen Carlile, Glyn Kerslake, Jessica Martin, Robyn North, Jerome Pradon, Steven Kynman, Ramin Karimloo and Gerard Carey and several surprise special guests. They will be supported by a full dance ensemble.

The show will be directed and choreographed by Lizzi Gee (Snoopy! ), with musical direction by Nathan Martin, accompanied by Jonathon Cohen and Julian Slade, and lighting design by Mike Robertson.

The birthday event is produced by Stuart Piper, Musical Stages editor Lynda Trapnell and Michael Tornay. The performance begins at 7.00pm, with the party following from 9.00pm, including buffet supper. Tickets, costing £20 each, can be purchased by emailing editor@musicalstages.co.uk or by calling 020 7603 2221.
