Moran Monster II Takes Two Weeks at Wyndham’s

Date: 12 October 2004

The stand-ups’ march on the West End continues next month at Wyndham’s Theatre where Irish comedian Dylan Moran will present his one-man show Monster II. Moran previously performed at the West End’s Palace Theatre for a week this past May. At Wyndham’s, he’ll play two weeks, running from 1 to 13 November 2004.

Moran is a seasoned performer at comedy festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe, Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and the Kilkenny Comedy Festival. At Edinburgh, he won the 1996 Perrier Prize. Prior to that, in 1993, he won the Channel 4 newcomers’ comedy competition “So You Think You're Funny”.

Moran’s other television credits include the BAFTA award-winning Black Books, which he wrote and starred in. His Black Books co-star Bill Bailey brings his own stand-up show, Part Troll, to the West End’s Apollo Theatre later this month (See News, 7 Oct 2004).
