Mousetrap Enters 46th Year
Date: 29 November 1997

The Mousetrap, the world's longest running stage show, extended its lead over the competition when it entered its 46th consecutive year in London's West End this week. Dame Agatha Christie's murder mystery originally opened on 25 November 1952 at the Ambassador's Theatre before moving next door to the St Martin's Theatre on 25 March 1974 where it's been ever since.
