Donmar Warehouse Celebrates 5th Birthday

Date: 19 September 1997

The Donmar Warehouse, the award-winning theatre space in London's Covent Garden, has announced its fifth anniversary season schedule. Highlights of the coming year are the world premiere of Joe Penhall's Full Fathom Five which will star Harold Pinter and Lia Williams and a Christmas 1998 production of As You Like It, in which Emma Thompson is lined up to play Rosalind. In the shorter term, the schedule will include a revival of the comedy The Front Page in December , the annual Four Corners season in March. The fifth anniversary celebrates the years since the theatre's reopening under the artistic directorship of the much-heralded Sam Mendes.
