McCormack Stars in Anna Weiss, 22 NovDate: 22 September 1999British film star Catherine McCormack will star in the London premiere of Mike Cullen's Anna Weiss which opens at the Whitehall Theatre on 22 November 1999. Anna Weiss was first performed at the Traverse in 1997's Edinburgh Fringe festival and went on to Boston. The three-hander concerns a psychiatrist who is trying to help a patient recover painful memories that may lead to a possible confrontation with the patient's father. This new production is directed by James Kerr who directed the National's current production of Rita Dove's full-length verse play, Darker Face of the Earth. Scottish writer Mike Cullen's other plays include The Cut and The Collection. Related Content |
