Stagefair Gives Preview of Coming Season Date: 1 October 1997
Stagefairs, the Society of London Theatres sixth annual showcase, was held yesterday in central London for an eager crowd of ticket and travel agents and group organisers. The exhibition's conference programme included seminars on the future of theatre ticketing, attracting young people to the theatre, and the health of repertory theatrical companies, led by Sir Peter Hall whose own repertory company will be ousted from the Old Vic from December. The day concluded at the Theatre Royal with a sneak peek of upcoming musicals.
