Barbican Delivers Postman Pat & Friends

Popular BBC children's TV character Postman Pat and his friends from Greendale will be starring in a brand new family show this summer in the Barbican theatre for 11 performances only from 11 to 15 August 1998.
The new adventure - Postman Pat and his Black & White Cat - features actors playing all the favourite TV characters including Pat, Mrs Goggins, The Reverend Timms, Miss Hubbard and Jess the Cat. It tells tohe story of how Ted Glen creates a robot to help Postman Pat deliver his numerous letters and parcels. Naturally, things go wrong and the parcels get mixed up - Granny Dryden gets a strange new hat and PC Selby's diversion signs get knocked over.
Postman Pat is aimed at two- to eight-year-olds who are encouraged to get involved, sing along and help Postman Pat find his missing post. The show lasts approximately 1 hour 50 minutes (including interval).
Postman Pat is a national touring show that will go on to Southampton, Norwich and Reading. Children's tickets start at £3.
