Wallace & Gromit Celebrate ChristmasDate: 3 November 1997 It's official! Wallace and Gromit are shedding their plasticine image and heading for A Grand Night Out in London's West End this Christmas. Following a hugely successful regional tour, which to date has grossed £1m, Britain's famous model citizens were about to head home when they realised they d forgotten to visit London. “A very big town,” Wallace reasoned, “full of folk who look like they need cheering.” Sadler's Wells will host the two and their entourage - including Wendolene, Shaun the Sheep and Feathers, the dastardly Penguin - for a seven-week run from 24 November. Nick Park s original Oscar-winning figurines are brought to life-size proportions by Andrew Dawson and producer John Gore, the men behind the cult success of Thunderbirds FAB. Related Content
