starstarstarstarstarChris and I promised ourselves that we would see the new (large stage)version of this and travelled from Ipswich to be just as blown away as we were last year at its premiere in its and our home town. The wider perspective of Gran on the story certainly enhanced the spectacle, whic is surely ready for the West End. - David Farthing03 Oct 12
starstarstarstarstarThis was a superb production. The use of media and the set were fantastic - something you could see being a great hit in the West End. Whilst the lead man, George, played Marc Bolan extremely well, special credit should also go to three others who gave amazing performances: - Lucy Sinclair played June, Bolans wife and basically the driving force behind his career. Lucy Sinclair was amazing, her vocals outstanding - we should have heard more from her, what a talent. The role of Gloria was also amazing as was the role of Rolan, Bolans son. This young mans voice is amazing and captivating. Well in a nutshell it was a great performance - it needs to be in the West End! Thanks to the producer and all the cast for a great night of entertainment. - Sassy Trebuchet01 Oct 12
starstarstarmarc bolan one of the most underated british rock icons of all time, and at last a musical containing some of his epic songs ,i saw bolan on numerous occasions and georges acting is surblime but hes certainly not anything like the marc bolan i saw ,but neverless, the music is played well ,as long as people dont think that this is how bolan was ,its a great peace of entertainmant ,the characters who played gloria and rolan are the highlights just wonder weather the writers actualy spoke to gloria tony visconti and rolan they are alive and kicking - john wurz aston26 Sep 12
starstarstarstarstarMy partner and i travelled from Kent to watch this,it was probably THE best thing i have seen on stage ever, and i have probably seen about 2 dozen or so first rate musicals over the last 30 years. If i had to sum it up in one word it would be..UNBEATABLE.. - Iain Speak23 Sep 12
starstarstarstarstarBrilliant entertainment, singing and dancing excellent. Performers looked as though they were having a great time too. I left the theatre very happy and would certainly see it again! - M Bassett22 Sep 12
starstarstarstarstarClever way of telling a story, with the very incredible music of Bolan. In the time difficult to show everything, but covered lots. Really enjoyed the production after travelling 150 miles to see it, and trying to make time to go again before the end of the run. Hope it it taken up as a West End show - Byron Godfrey20 Sep 12
