Nominees announced for Manchester Theatre Awards

The shortlists have been revealed for the annual awards that celebrate theatre in the North West

The shortlists have been announced for the annual Manchester Theatre Awards with Robert Lindsay (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Suranne Jones (Orlando) and Maxine Peake (Hamlet) receiving nods for their performances.

The nominees have been chosen by chosen a panel of 11 of the region’s leading theatre critics, and winners will be announced on stage at Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music on Friday 13 March.
