Reharsal images have been released of Thomas Ostermeier's new show Returning to Reims which opens in Manchester in July.
The piece is based on Didier Eribon's bestselling memoir which is about Eribon's return to a working-class community after his father's death. He is forced to re-evaluate parts of his life when he discovers his family have switched allegiance from Communism to the far-right Front National.
It will get its world premiere as part of Manchester International Festival, and stars Homeland actress Nina Hoss.
Returning to Reims runs at HOME, Manchester from 5 to 14 July as part of Manchester International Festival.
