Exclusive first look: Don Warrington as King Lear

A first look at images of the cast of King Lear have been released ahead of opening night at the Royal Exchange, Manchester tomorrow evening.

Michael Buffong's production stars Don Warrington as Lear alongside Alfred Enoch as Edgar, Miltos Yerolemou as the Fool and Philip Whitchurch as the Earl of Gloucester.

King Lear is a co-production between Talawa and the Royal Exchange and is presented as part of Shakespeare 400 commemorations and celebrations for Talawa's 30th anniversary year.

King Lear runs at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester from 6 April to 7 May, after which it transfers to the Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 19 to 28 May 2016.
