Priscilla Presley to star in Manchester Opera House Snow White panto

The American star returns to the role of the evil queen for First Family Entertainment’s panto in Manchester.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Priscilla Presley to star in the Manchester Opera House’s next panto – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Priscilla, who famously married Elvis, is to play the Wicked Queen in the family panto based on the classic fairytale. She first played this role two years ago in Wimbledon. She is perhaps best known for her roles in the hit TV show Dallas andThe Naked Gun films alongside the late Leslie Nielson.

She says: "I was introduced to the world of pantomime two years ago and I can honestly say it was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. My grandchildren absolutely loved seeing me on stage and I can’t wait to get that costume back on again and start terrorising the people of Manchester!

Further casting by producers First Family Entertainment will be announced soon. The script is written by Eric Potts, who is also known as a seasoned panto dame.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is at the Manchester Opera House from 6 December – 5 January.
