Musical revue You Won't Succeed on Broadway if You Don't Have Any Jews will play a short run at the St James Theatre from 25 August to 5 September 2015.

The show, which celebrates "over 80 years of the Jewish contribution to musical theatre", will star Lloyd Daniels (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The X Factor), Sarah Earnshaw (Spamalot, Wicked) and Sophie Evans (The Wizard of Oz, The World's End).

The rest of the cast comprises David Albury, Alex Marshall, John Barr, Danny Lane, Yiftach Mizrahi, Natalie Lipin, Rebecca Wicking and Jackie Marks.

The production, which will also play a short run in Tel Aviv in July, has musical direction by Inga Davis Rutter and choreography by Chris Whittaker. Developed by Michaela Stern and Daniel Donskoy, it has associate direction by Evan Ensign.

You Won't Succeed on Broadway if You Don't Have Any Jews, which is "not in any way political", will feature songs by George and Ira Gershwin and Irving Berlin, and shows including Rent and Hairspray.

Producers of the show said: "We, at Collaborative Artists, feel it is imperative to display the show’s message to audiences all over the world and believe that theatre should go far beyond entertainment!"
