The WhatsOnStage Awards launch took place in central London today, with the shortlist of nominees announced.
We chatted to some of the show's nominees and stars, including Ria Jones, Danny Mac, Clare Halse, and Dan Gillespie Sells, before and after the announcement.
Nominations went to shows including Bat Out of Hell, 42nd Street,
Follies, An American in Paris and Young Frankenstein. Read the full list of nominees here.
Stars turned up to watch host Trevor Dion Nicholas host the announcement and Gillespie Sells perform a piano rendition of "Everybody's Talking About Jamie", the title song from his new musical.
The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 25 February 2018. The public can buy tickets to attend the awards.
