The performance of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown at the Playhouse Theatre tonight (5 January 2015) has been cancelled due to "a number of cast illnesses".

The musical adaptation of Pedro Almodovar's 1988 Oscar-nominated film stars Tamsin Greig as Pepa, a professional movie dubber who discovers unsavoury secrets about her lover after he abruptly abandons her.

The cast also includes Haydn Gwynne (Lucia), Willemijn Verkaik (Paulina), Seline Hizli (Marisa), Haydn Oakley (Carlos), Jerome Pradon (Ivan), Anna Skellern (Candella), Michael Matus, Dale Rapley, Sarah Moyle, Marianne Benedict, Alistair Natkiel, Nuno Queimado, Holly James and Rebecca McKinnis, and the show is directed by Bartlett Sher.

Anyone with tickets for tonight's performance should contact their point of sale to exchange tickets to another available performance or obtain a refund if no alternative can be found.
