Lauren Samuels week in Romantics Anonymous
Lauren Samuels first appeared on BBC's Over the Rainbow in 2010, before going on to star as Sandy in Grease, Scaramouche in We Will Rock You, and Jules in Bend it Like Beckham.
She now appears in Emma Rice's new musical Romantics Anonymous, based on the 2010 French film Les Emotifs Anonymes. Set in a chocolate factory, the musical charts the lives of two lovers as their romance flourishes. The show is performed in the Globe's Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, with audiences being given chocolate upon entry.
Lauren gives us a taste of the rehearsal room as well as some of the backstage prep being done ahead of the show's opening night.
