Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein's musical announced major cast changes last month with Simon-Anthony Rhoden taking over from WhatsOnStage and Olivier Award-winner Matt Henry as Lola and Verity Rushworth joining as Lauren.

6. Apologia

You may want to sit down for this one… the original Rizzo is coming to London! Stockard Channing will star in Jamie Lloyd's production of Alexi Kaye Campbell's Apologia. The piece, which originally opened in 2008 at the Bush Theatre, follows eminent art historian Miller and her dysfunctional relationship with her sons, Pete and Simon.

Miranda Hart makes her UK debut in the West End transfer of Nikolai Foster's rousing production of this classic musical about the red haired orphan who just wants to be loved. You can bet your bottom dollar this is a show that you don't want to miss.

4. The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?
Theatre Royal Haymarket
There's now just a couple of weeks left to see this revival of Edward Albee's play about a man who falls in love with a goat. Said man is Homeland star Damian Lewis who stars alongside the wonderful Sophie Okonedo.

Unless you knew someone who knew someone, it's unlikely you got a ticket for the Royal Court run of Jez Butterworth's new play. So you'll be glad that serial producer Friedman has come to the rescue once again and transfers this critically acclaimed play, set around the time of the Bobby Sands hunger strike in Ireland, to the West End from 20 June.
