Mischief Theatre's The Comedy About a Bank Robbery will extend at the Criterion Theatre until October 2017.

The play opened in April this year to rave reviews, with WhatsOnStage critic Mark Valencia calling it "the funniest play since Noises Off".

Written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, it follows Mitch Ruscitti who escapes from jail and drives to Minneapolis to rob a bank, but things don't quite go to plan.

Mischief's currently have two other productions running in the West End, The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong, the latter of which will be broadcast on BBC One as part of their Christmas programming.

The Comedy About a Bank Robbery is booking at the Criterion Theatre until 29 October 2017.
