Jim Steinman’s musical premieres in Manchester next month before transferring to the West End in June

Images have been released offering a first look at the cast of Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell in rehearsals.

Based on Steinman and Meat Loaf's hit albums of the same name, the musical is about rebellious youths and features the songs "I Would Do Anything For Love", "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad", and the title track.

Newcomer Andrew Polec will play the lead role of Strat with Christina Bennington (Sweeney Todd) taking on the role of Raven.

The production, which premieres at the Manchester Opera House next month before opening at the London Coliseum in June, will be directed by Jay Scheib, with choreography by Emma Portner and design by Jon Bausor.
