West End and Broadway star Ramin Karimloo will join Kerry Ellis in the new musical Murder Ballad.

The UK premiere of Murder Ballad opens at the Arts Theatre in September with Karimloo playing Tom opposite Ellis. Completing the cast is Norman Bowman and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt.

Murder Ballad tells of three New Yorkers in a bar caught in a love triangle. The show opened off-Broadway and is written by Julia Jordan with lyrics by Juliana Nash.

Karimloo returns to the West End after starring in shows such as Love Never Dies, and Les Miserables. Bowman has starred in Guys and Dolls, Mamma Mia and Mack & Mabel. Hamilton-Barritt was recently in In the Heights. All four actors will perform at this year's West End Live.

Murder Ballad runs at the Arts Theatre from 5 October, with previews from 29 September.
