Punchdrunk to publish Drowned Man book

The coffee table book will feature over 130 never seen before images from the 2013 production

Punchdrunk have announced the publication of their first book, a collection of images from The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable, two years after the doors of Temple Studios opened for the first time.

The hardback book will feature over 130 full colour and never before published photographs taken in the final few months before the doors of the studios closed forever.

The images by renowned interiors photographer Julian Abrams capture the world of the show and its inhabitants.

The Drowned Man was Punchdrunk’s biggest show to date, seen by over 200,000 people during its year long run. Inspired by Büchner's fractured masterpiece Woyzeck, the production took place in a vast building in Paddington transformed into a seedy Hollywood underworld filled with dreamers from the fringes of the movie industry.

Copies cost £49 and will be released in June as a Limited First Edition print run to mark the anniversary of the show.
