An all-star cast has been announced for a concert performance of Scott Morgan's new musical The Prince.

Taking place at the Arts Theatre on 10 September, the cast will be led by Rob Houchen (Les Miserables), Jonny Labey (In the Heights), Maria Coyne (Wicked) and Alexia Khadime (The Book of Mormon, Wicked).

They are joined by Chris Howell, Rebecca Parker, Stephanie Brown, Toyan Thomas-Browne, Niall Hemingway, Natalie Green, Benjamin McMillan, Karen Walker and Bethany Watts.

With a ten-piece orchestra helmed by conductor Neil Whitfield, the musical is a new 'light-hearted fairy tale' that takes place on Prince Casper's 21st birthday. The Book of Tradition says he must marry his betrothed bride-to-be, but he has other plans.

The Prince takes place at the Arts Theatre on 10 September.
