In pictures: WOMAD takes over the National Theatre's River Stage

Beatboxing, Jamaican dancing and Balkan brass were on the menu

The National Theatre's River Stage continued this weekend with the internationally renowned festival WOMAD taking over the temporary South Bank space.

Highlights of the weekend included Grace Savage's beatboxing workshop, Afro Cluster and Gypsy Hill.

The festival, which is free to the public, takes place throughout the summer and sees different arts and culture organisations take over the outdoor stage one weekend at a time. This year, WhatsOnStage is the festival's media partner.

This weekend will be curated by Rambert with a line-up including work by Patricia Okenwa, Alexander Whitley and Daniel Davidson.
