Stephen Karam’s comedy gets its UK premiere at Trafalgar Studios

Images have been released showing Douglas Booth and cast rehearsing for Speech and Debate which opens at Trafalgar Studios in February.

The UK premiere of Stephen Karam's comedy, which is about a group of teenagers brought together by a sex scandal at their school, will also star Patsy Ferran, Charlotte Lucas and Tony Revolori.

It is the first time on of Karam's plays has been produced in the UK. His 2015 play The Humans won the Tony Award for Best Play in 2016, and was also a Pulitzer Prize for Drama finalist.

Produced by theaatre company Defibrillator, Tom Attenborough will direct the piece when it opens on 24 February.

Speech and Debate runs at Trafalgar Studios from 24 February to 1 April, with previews from 22 February.
