Producer Paul Taylor-Mills has joined Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group as an advisory producer, it has been announced.

Taylor-Mills will work with Lloyd Webber to produce the programme for St James Theatre, which was recently bought by Lloyd Webber.

The producer will continue to work on his own projects, whilst also working with RUG.

Taylor-Mills said: "I'm thrilled and humbled to be working with Andrew and his exceptional team at RUG on the next phase at St. James Theatre. London has been crying out for a home dedicated to staging new work and our plan is to make St. James the destination venue at which to do this."

Taylor-Mills has been responsible for recent productions such as WhatsOnStage Award-winning Carrie the Musical at Southwark Playhouse, the Olivier-nominated In the Heights and the UK tour of End of the Rainbow.

The new season at the St James Theatre will be announced soon.
