Images have been released of a gala night for JT Rogers' play Oslo which has transferred from the National Theatre to the West End.
The show arrived at the National in September after a Tony-winning run on Broadway. The gala evening brought together celebrities including Patrick Stewart and Christian Slater as well as the real-life diplomats on which the play is based.
Oslo tells the true story of Norwegian diplomats Mona Juul and Terje Rød-Larsen as they orchestrate peace meetings between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation organisation in the early nineties.
The two diplomats are played by Lydia Leonard and Toby Stephens. In our four-star review of the show, Matt Trueman wrote that Oslo is "absolutely a play for today".
Oslo runs at the Noel Coward Theatre until 30 December.
