Voting now open in Olivier This Morning Audience Award

The category is the only Olivier Award voted for by the public

Following the excitement of last Sunday's WhatsOnStage Awards, you now have another chance to vote for your favourite West End show, this time in the Olivier's This Morning Audience Award.

Voting is open until midday on 5 March, with a shortlist of the top four shows being announced on 9 March, after which voting will re-open until 10 April.

The award is the only Olivier Awards category voted for by the public, and recognises long-running West End shows which opened before 15 February 2014 and are still running on 12 April 2015.

There are sixteen shows in the running; The 39 Steps, Billy Elliot the Musical, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, The Commitments, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia!, Matilda the Musical, The Mousetrap, The Phantom Of The Opera, Stomp, Thriller Live, War Horse, Wicked and The Woman In Black.

The Book of Mormon has opted not to run for the Audience Award this year.

The award was launched earlier this week on ITV's This Morning, and presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will present the gong at the ceremony on 12 April 2015, which will be held at the Royal Opera House.
