The 2017 Olivier Awards took place at the Royal Albert Hall last night and WhatsOnStage were on hand to capture the red carpet buzz and first reactions from winners backstage.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child dominated the evening winning nine of their 11 nominations. Click here to read the full story on all of last night's winners.

Hosted by comedian Jason Manford, the ceremony took place at the West London venue for the first time and included performances from Amber Riley, Audra McDonald and the casts of Jesus Christ Superstar, School of Rock and The Girls.

The ceremony will be broadcast on ITV this Tuesday, 11 April at 8pm.
