Olivia Colman and Olivia Williams to take part in National Theatre talk on Mosquitoes

The actresses are currently starring in Lucy Kirkwood’s new play at the National

Olivia Colman and Olivia Williams are due to take part in an upcoming talk at the National Theatre.

The actresses are currently starring in Lucy Kirkwood's new play Mosquitoes. The talk will reflect on the challenges and rewards of performing the piece.

Mosquitoes tells the story of scientist Alice who is working on the Higgs Boson in Geneva and her sister Jenny, who lives in Luton.

The piece is directed by Rufus Norris and has garnered rave reviews, including five stars from Sarah Crompton, who described it as 'the kind of play that makes me want to punch the air in celebration'.

The talk, which takes place on Monday 18 September between 3pm and 4pm, is the latest in the National Theatre's season of events and talks around the shows. This week Stephen Sondheim took to the stage to talk all things Follies ahead of the musical's revival. Later this year Lucy Kirkwood will be talking to Rufus Norris about Mosquitoes, Janie Dee and Philip Quast will talk on Follies and director Dominic Cooke will also be in conversation.

Mosquitoes runs in the Dorfman, National Theatre until 28 September 2017. Tickets are available through day seats and the NT's Friday Rush.
