The Old Red Lion Theatre in London has appointed a new theatre manager to replace Clive Judd as artistic director.

Katy Danbury will take over as Theatre Manager, replacing Judd who has been the venue's artistic director for 10 months. Judd took over from Stewart Pringle in January 2017, but announced in September he would be leaving.

Danbury runs the London Horror Festival, which takes place at the Old Red Lion. Her previous experience also includes producing fringe shows, archiving for the Young Vic and V&A and being assistant manager of the Etcetera Theatre.

She said: "I have enjoyed presenting the London Horror Festival here so much that I have decided to stay! I'm honoured to be overseeing the management of such a highly-regarded theatre and I look forward to contributing to its rich history".

The London Horror Festival is currently running at the venue until 4 November.
