Nicholas Hytner chairs panel for 2015 Bruntwood Prize

Outgoing National Theatre artistic director Nicholas Hytner will chair the judging panel for the 2015 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.

Next year's competition will mark its 10th anniversary of the prize, which is considered the UK's pre-eminent playwriting competition.

Other judges on the panel include Royal Exchange artistic director Sarah Frankcom, 2008 Bruntwood prize winner Vivienne Franzmann, Actors Touring Company artistic director Ramin Gray, Bruntwood chairman Michael Oglesby, journalist Miranda Sawyer, actress Meera Syal and playwright Bryony Lavery.

Entries will be accepted from 30 January. Writers, who enter anonymously, must be at least 16 to enter. More information can be found at writeaplay.co.uk.
