New writing theatre company Paines Plough have announced their 2016 season.

The company will stage three world premieres on their pop up, transportable Roundabout stage. Love, Lies and Taxidermy by Alan Harris is an offbeat boy meets girl story created in partnership with Sherman Cymru and Theatr Clwyd. Plus a new piece from Luke Norris, Growth – a comedy about growing up – will run alongside a new play from Katie Douglas called I Got Superpowers For My Birthday.

Artistic directors James Grieve and George Perrin open Roundabout at Hackney Showroom in London between 19 and 24 July before taking it to Summerhall in Edinburgh for the fringe festival.

In October, the company will premiere a new piece from Tom Wells called Broken Biscuits, about three teenagers deciding to form a band. The production will open at Live Theatre and will then tour. Sabrina Mahfouz's play-come-gig With a Litte Bit of Luck will also run at the Roundhouse between 14-18 June as part of The Last Word Festival.

The company will be touring Duncan Macmillan's Every Brilliant Thing throughout the UK and Come To Where I'm From: London will get writers to stage plays about their area in live events across the city.

Grieve and Perrin said: "We're raring to hit the road to the four corners of the UK with this cracking programme of new plays from some of the most exciting writers around."
