Fans of the 2016 hit La La Land will be able to savour the glitz and glamour of the film with a live orchestra in the surrounds of Theatre Royal Drury Lane next year.

The winner of six Academy Awards including Best Original Score and Best Original Song, La La Land stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as jazz musician and actress struggling to make ends meet in Hollywood.

Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the film has a score by Justin Hurwitz with lyrics by Dear Evan Hansen writing duo Pasek and Paul.

Also next year, movie-musical buffs will be able to watch Judy Garland in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz with a 60-piece orchestra. The event will take place at the London Palladium on 13 April.

La La Land plays the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 27 May 2018.
