Kate Fleetwood to star in National Theatre's Ugly Lies the Bone

New dates have also been announced for several shows in the National’s winter season

Kate Fleetwood is to star in the upcoming production of Lindsey Ferrentino's play Ugly Lies the Bone.

The play, which makes its European premiere in the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre in February follows a soldier Jess returning from Afghanistan and struggling to adjust. Fleetwood will play Jess in the production which is directed by Indhu Rubasingham, with a set design by Es Devlin.

The National Theatre also announce new dates today, with Peter Pan running to 4 February, Hedda Gabler will run to 21 March. Alexander Zeldin's new play Love will run to 10 January while Amadeus will run until 18 March 2017.

Tickets for Tony Kushner's Angels in America will go on sale in January 2017, with dates TBC.

Ugly Lies the Bone runs at the National Theatre from 1 March, with previews from 22 February.
