Dick Whittington opening night video: Julian Clary, NIgel Havers, Beverley Knight and more
We spoke with some of the guests on the red carpet, as well as some of the cast onstage at the opening night of Dick Whittington, which opened at the London Palladium last night.
The production stars Elaine Paige as Queen Rat, Julian Clary as Spirit of the Bells and Charlie Stemp in the title role.
The cast also features Ashley Banjo and Diversity, Paul Zerdin (Idle Jack), Nigel Havers (Captain Nigel), Gary Wilmot (Sarah the Cook), Emma Williams (Alice Fitzwarren) and Lukus Alexander (Eileen the Cat).
In her review for WhatsOnStage, Daisy Bowie-Sell said the show was 'a huge amount of a fun, a big, brash, over-the-top Christmas extravaganza.'
Dick Whittington runs at the London Palladium until 14 January.
