Joseph Marcell in further cast for Lady Windermere's Fan

Full casting for Kathy Burke’s production at the Vaudeville has been announced

Full casting has been announced for Kathy Burke's upcoming production of Lady Windermere's Fan at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Joseph Marcell is to play Lord Lorton alongside Grace Molony as Lady Winderemere, Joshua James as Lord Windermere and Ami Metcalf as Agatha and Rosalie. They join the already announced Samantha Spiro, Kevin Bishop and Jennifer Saunders.

Molony won Best Actress in the Stage Debut Awards 2017 for her performance in The Country Girls at Chichester Festival Theatre and graduated from LAMDA this year. James's recent stage credits include Life of Galileo at the Young Vic, while Marcell's credits include King Lear at Shakespeare's Globe, A Freeman of Colour at the Lincoln Center in New York and the BBC Radio 4 adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys.

Oscar Wilde's play is running as part of Dominic Dromgoole's Wilde season and follows A Woman of No Importance, and Simon Callow performing Frank McGuinness' new stage adaptation of De Profundis in early January.

Wilde's play follows Lady Windermere who believes her husband is having an affair with another woman.

Lady Windermere's Fan runs at the Vaudeville Theatre from 22 January to 7 April, with previews from 12 January.
