Imelda Staunton and cast celebrate opening night of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

The revival of Edward Albee’s play opened in the West End last night

Imelda Staunton, Conleth Hill, Luke Treadaway and Imogen Poots celebrated the West End opening of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? last night at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

The cast were joined by producer Sonia Friedman, director James Macdonald and stars including Kenneth Cranham and Jim Carter.

Edward Albee's 1962 play is set over one night where an older couple entertain a younger couple at a dinner party. Staunton plays Martha opposite Hill who plays her husband George, Treadaway and Poots play the younger married couple Nick and Honey.
