Exclusive: First look at Jenna Russell and Sheila Hancock in Grey Gardens

Images have been released offering a first look at Jenna Russell as Edith "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale and Sheila Hancock as Edith "Big Edie" Ewing Bouvier Beale in the European première of Grey Gardens.

The production features Russell and Hancock alongside Aaron Sidwell, Billy Boyle, Jeremy Legat, Ako Mitchell and Rachel Anne Rayham.

Directed by Thom Southerland, Grey Gardens is a stage adaptation of the cult documentary film by Albert and David Maysles. It focuses on mother and daughter Edie and Edie, who live in a crumbling mansion on Long Island overrun by cats.

The show reunites the team behind recent hits Titanic and Grand Hotel, with Southerland joined by choreographer Lee Proud and producer Danielle Tarento.

Grey Gardens runs at Southwark Playhouse from 7 January to 6 February.
