Sweeney Todd at Harrington’s Pie and Mash Shop
This site-specific production of Sondheim's classic musical takes place in London's oldest pie and mash shop.
Set in Victorian London, the show centres on the eponymous demon barber of Fleet Street, who murders customers and disposes of them in meat pies with the help of the eccentric Mrs Lovett.

Sunny Afternoon opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre
Following a transfer from the Hampstead Theatre, Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon makes its West End debut at the Harold Pinter Theatre. The show stars John Dalgleish and George Maguire and is directed by Edward Hall.
Set against the backdrop of a Britain caught mid-swing between the conservative 50s and riotous 60s, Sunny Afternoon explores the "euphoric highs and agonising lows" of one of the era's most iconic bands.

'Tis Pity She's a Whore opens at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse
Michael Longhurst's revival of John Ford's tragedy in the Globe's new candlelit theatre stars ones-to-watch Max Bennett and Fiona Button (pictured).
The course of true love never did run smooth – Giovanni and Annabella love each other deeply but there is a barrier between them that means that they can never be together. A roller-coaster ride of desire and turmoil with an unforgettable finale.
