Full casting announced for Thoroughly Modern Millie

The cast joining Joanne Clifton and Michelle Collins has been announced

Full casting for the UK tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie has been confirmed.

Sam Barrett (The Fix) will play Jimmy Smith, Graham McDuff (Spamalot) will play Trevor Graydon, and Katherine Glover will play Miss Dorothy.

They join the previously announced Joanne Clifton as Millie Dillmount, a Kansas girl determined to make it big in New York, and Michelle Collins as Mrs Meers.

The cast is completed by Jenny Fitzpatrick, Catherine Mort, Damian Buhagiar, Andy Yau, Emma Housley, David Muscat, Alice Baker, Lottie Summers, Laura Marie Benson, Bobby Williams, Marios Nicolaides and Laura Wilson.

Directed and choreographed by Racky Plews, the musical features songs such as "Gimme Gimme" and "Not for the Life of Me", and is based on the 1967 film starring Julie Andrews.

With a book by Richard Morris and Dick Scanlan, the musical won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The UK touring production has new music by Jeanine Tesori
 and new lyrics by Dick Scanlan.

Thoroughly Modern Millie opens at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 17 January before embarking on a UK tour.
