Five Guys Named Moe to close in March

The show is to finish its run at the new Marble Arch Theatre

The new production of Five Guys Named Moe, which opened the Marble Arch Theatre, is set to close on March 24.

The show, which has come to the end of its limited season after extending twice, opened in September to excellent reviews including five stars from WhatsOnStage. The Olivier Award-winning musical was revived by its writer Clarke Peters and stars Ian Carlyle, Dex Lee, Horace Oliver, Idriss Kargbo and Emile Ruddock.

The musical features the songs of Louis Jordan, including "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens" and " Safe, Sane and Single". It follows Nomax, whose evening is interrupted by the appearance of five men who pop out of his radio and give him life and romance advice. It has been nominated for three WhatsOnStage awards: Best Musical Revival, Best Choreography and Best Supporting Actor.

The show opened the brand new Marble Arch Theatre, which features a bar styled into a 1940s New Orleans club. Watch our video tour of the new theatre here.

Five Guys Named Moe runs at the Marble Arch Theatre until March 24.
