First look: Andrew Polec and the cast of Bat Out Of Hell

The new musical opens in Manchester before opening in the West End

Photos have been released giving a first look at Andrew Polec and Christina Bennington in Bat Out of Hell.

Jim Steinman's musical features songs from the Meat Loaf albums "Bat Out of Hell", and features songs such as "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)", "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad", and the title track.

It is a romantic adventure about rebellious youths and stars Polec as the lead role Strat and Bennington as Raven.

The production, which premieres at Manchester Opera House on 17 February before opening in the West End on 5 June, is directed by Jay Scheib, with choreography by Emma Portner.

Bat Out of Hell runs at Manchester Opera House from 17 February to 8 April, and at the London Coliseum from 5 June to 22 July.
