Following a West End run at the Dominion Theatre in 2014, Bill Kenwright's production of Evita will tour the UK next year, opening in Bromley on 12 January.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical tells the story of Eva Peron, wife of former Argentine director Juan Peron, and her journey from humble beginnings to extraordinary wealth. The score includes favourites such as "Don’t Cry for Me Argentina", "On This Night of a Thousand Stars" and "Another Suitcase in Another Hall".

The West End production starred Madalena Alberto in the titular role alongside Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow as Che. Casting for the tour is yet to be announced.

Following its run in Bromley the tour will visit Southampton, Liverpool, Stoke-On-Trent, Edinburgh, Bristol, Wimbledon, Oxford, Salford Quays, Cardiff, York and Sunderland with further dates to be announced.
