The Broadway musical comedy Disaster! will get its London premiere in November when it plays two charity performances at the Charing Cross Theatre, in aid of the Make a Difference Trust.

Starring its creator, Seth Rudetsky, Disaster! is a spoof of 1970s jeopardy movies including Earthquake and Airport. The musical opened on Broadway earlier this year starring Adam Pascal and Jennifer Simard alongside Rudetsky and features 70s dancefloor hits including "I Will Survive", "Knock On Wood" and "Hot Stuff".

The production will also feature a host of West End stars who are yet to be announced.

On the announcement, Rudetsky said: "This show is a culmination of everything I love and hope British people love: 1970s songs, comedy and terrifying disasters.

"I first performed in London with Patti LuPone two years ago and I found out how much I love British audiences."

Disaster! runs at the Charing Cross Theatre for two performances on Sunday 20 November at 4pm and 7.30pm.
