Dirty Dancing is set to return to the West End this Christmas.

Currently on a UK tour, the production will open at the Phoenix Theatre on 6 December.

It currently stars Lewis Griffiths (Jersey Boys) as Johnny Castle, Katie Hartland as Baby Houseman and Carlie Milner as Penny Johnson.

The musical is based on the classic 1987 film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. It features hit songs such as "Hungry Eyes", "Hey! Baby", "Do You Love Me?" and "(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life".

The current production of Dirty Dancing opened in Rome in July 2015 and is directed by Federico Bellone, with choreography by Gillian Bruce and with design by Roberto Comotti.
