Patrick Marber's play, a modern take on Moliere's Dom Juan, premiered a decade ago at the Donmar Warehouse starring Rhys Ifans. It will be revived with direction by Marber and design by Anna Fleischle, at Wyndham's Theatre in March 2017.

Tennant returns to Wyndham's following his last West End appearance in Much Ado About Nothing. His other theatre credits include Richard II – for which he won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actor in a Play – and Hamlet for the RSC. He's perhaps best known for his work on screen including playing the tenth Doctor in the BBC's Doctor Who, as well as Broadchurch and Jessica Jones.

Further casting to be announced.

Don Juan in Soho runs at Wyndham’s Theatre from 28 March to 10 June 2017 with previews from 17 March 2017.
